Silence is the sound of a rural stone house nestled among 100-year-old oak trees on a hill in the Itria Valley.
Three trulli (traditional Apulian dry stone huts with conical roofs) attached to a lamia structure are put back into play with a small expansion.
The materials and the rediscovered original forms create a dialogue with the formal inventions, such as the electrical and plumbing systems “a vista”, and furniture items and accessories. One of the trulli houses a bathtub and has a skylight which looks to the sky.
A pool surrounded by Mediterranean plants and an ancient threshing floor, to enjoy listening to music on and the night complete the leisure area.
